Abstract

|
Impotence is a common disorder that in many people has a profound effect on their well-being. This can be symptomatics of, biological problems, intrapsychic conflicts, interpersonal dfficuties, or a combination of these factors. The sexual function can be influenced by variable kinds of stresses, emotional factors, and a lack of sexual´ knowledge. Recentry, due to the fast progression to the modernized and industialized society, variable stresses are loaded to the male population. The sexual dysfunction is appeared frequently in male. Also the increase in the use of psychotropics and antihypertensives contribute to the increase in the organic causes of the sexual dysfunction.
In the sexal dysfunction, several kinds of disorders are included. The male erectile dysfunction is limited to the capability of the erection and excludes the problems of the sexual desire, ejaculation, and the excitement.
The differentiation of the causes of the sexual dysfunction is devided into organic and psychgenic ones. During the past decades, the advances in understanding in the physiology of erection have been made and the new diagnostic methods and treatment_ srategies have been introduced:
We experienced one case of the male erectile dysfunction and we reports the case . with a brief review of literature.
